We may not know how many kids Johnson has, but we're all starting to get an idea of what it must've been like when he ran out on their mothers. There's no surprise in any of this. The EU has been incredibly difficult to work with since its inception as UK officials and MPs from any party will testify to. The EU has a huge problem with Brexit - if the UK thrives outside of the EU some of the members may question their own EU membership. The EU needs to maintain the image that you can only be a success if you're in the EU.
Utter drivel. Did the UK become the 5th* largest economy in the world while IN or OUT of the EU? Don't bother replying, it's a rhetorical question for morons.

If you want to get into the Brexiteer mind read Fintan O'Toole of the Irish Times. Marvellous exposition of the petty grievance- led dog whistle politics of the little Englanders
So now the BBC defends Irishmen who support the murder of Englishmen in the 1916 uprising, and won't allow any Englishman to point out that individuals positions. Interesting. But not as interesting as what England becoming an independent nation will do to the Irish. 400 Years of pure darkest racist hate, was inevitably going to eventually have an effect, apathy is always limited. The BBC reporting is getting worse, today's business headline of "LLoyds Black workers being paid 20% less than their white colleagues" is simply a lie.

The real story is that there are fewer black people on the board or at very senior positions, however that's an entirely different thing from "being paid less than their white colleagues".

It was a choice between subservience within the EU or becoming independent. Independence won. If the EU refuses to accept UK independence by making demands on UK sovereign assets in order to scare remaining members, that is up to them. It is for the UK to reject all such demands, move to WTO, repeal the WA, take back our nations, laws, land, waters, borders and money. It is time to walk away.

Trade between WTO members is very simple and low tarriff, it is only the EU that is threatening higher tarriffs which means that these would apply to other WTO members as well under the WTO regulations.

The EU was created in the image of 1950's France - elitist, rules-driven, protectionist and bureaucratic. The French mode of operating is that you can only do something if you have express permission or a licence (carte) for it. In the UK it's the other way round - you are free to do anything unless there is a law against it. The EU is in essence France writ large. It is intrinsically un-British.

Why has the BBC still not learned its lesson about its blatant anti-brexit pro EU bias? Why is it presenting this story (and others in links) from the point of view of the German EU president, when Germany and France are privately consulted? The comments of the British Prime Minister should take precedence. It is quite clear that the EU demands are ludicrous infringements of British sovereignty.

If the Prime Minister thinks that leaving without a deal is such a great achievement for the country , can we all demand a General Election to see if the people of the UK agree with him. He was happy for a referendum on the question of Brexit, so the surely he'd welcome the opportunity for the people to vote on what he's delivered.

Brexiters should be able to answer this simple question. If Australia with large amounts of valuable raw materials such as Bauxite is trying very hard to get a FTA with the EU why are brexiters so enamoured of the current Australian situation where it trades with the EU on WTO terms? Remember that the UK has no valuable raw materials other than some oil and haa almost no indigenous manufacturing

So Johnson will have to update his CV yet again - under key achievements [should be key under-achievements]:
- Lied my way to the top
- Kept lying until found out when it became clear that Reality > Brexit
- Dug my own ditch
- Found I could run faster than those I deceived and let down

What a legacy ????

Right, left, centre I don't care

But come January 1st we need Johnson to resign and take his feckless, sycophantic, incompetent cabinet with him

There is a lot of work to be done in our country building new relationships and healing divisions

We need a grown up in charge of grown ups healing the nation and driving us forwards

Not this bunch of children propagating hate and driving us down
Looking at the comments, most of the infantility seems to be coming from the Remain side. Removed

Both sides of this need to get a grip.

If people think this is worse for GB it is not.

The only reason the EU are doing this is to scare off all the other EU nations.

Who the hell do these people think they are? Just out of the blue, a woman, von der Leyen who failed as Defence Minister in her own Country is now dictating to the UK what it should do and what it can't or shouldn't. Boris, just walk away. If Canada can get a favourable deal why shouldn't the UK? Just tells you what Countries like Germany and France think of the UK? Telling the UK what to do!

I'm very fortunate in being able to afford the significant increases in prices of many everyday goods, because tariffs will certainly be applied...many won't be so lucky and will now struggle with the weekly shop.

I'm sure that I'll get the usual 'you're a bitter remoaner' comments, but these are from Brexit voters who never really understood the question. Within a few weeks you finally will.
