Since June 2016, obviously.

"Britons could be banned from travelling to EU countries under COVID rules when Brexit transition ends
The UK will no longer be part of the European Union's free movement rules after 1 January." - Headline on Sky News website today.

You think the BBC makes this stuff up? If we bury our heads it'll never happen, is that it?

Oh, Tommy. I know it must be irritating to read every day about how most of the promises made by multi-millionaire Brexit-pushers were a total lie - but don't blame the media for reporting it.

If we dont get a deal then both brexiteers and remainers get what they want. Brexiters get the clean break they voted for and remainers get the opportunity to whinge and whine to their hearts content for years to come.
That's me. I'll always hate them. It's all their fault. Removed

There are many reasons most not economic. But we dont have to justify our decisions. It was a democratic vote. The arguments (reasons) were all discussed prior to the vote.

How gullible are people to believe the old Daily Express line about the Spanish economy crumbling without British tourism ? just think how much they will save on policing the British rabble and the tourists from nations they can now attract to visit with no Brits polluting the place. Removed

The Europeans have always made it difficult for Brits to enter their enclave. They have herded Brits to remote parts of airports since we refused to adopt the Schengen protocol and treat them with disdain. Perhaps we should mete out some of that medicine to Europeans in retrospect, particularly the French.
Great, let's just get nasty at each other and start world war 3. That will be brexit's final destination more nationalism and hatred and skepticism of anyone talking or looking different. Removed

More unbalanced reporting by the Beeb.

It is certainly the case that Boris and friends have created a complete shambles, but the headline is sensationalism at its best.
Why don't you actually read the article....you are exactly what is wrong with the UK at the moment Removed

In answer to your comment about hating Brexit voters. Why don’t you try to forgive.....or it will eat you up. Start by accepting that it was a democratic decision which lazy Remainers failed to prevent. You may then blame remainers and stop the hating

Craftly written story making out this has anything to do with EU trade discussions. We left the eU and if they want to enforce their virus rules thats ok. We do the same. We are not in the EU so if they want to tell their countries what to do, fine. This may effect the luvvies escaping to their holiday homes or Emma Thompsons move to Venice .

Dear BBC. My thanks to you for the informative article and to my grandfather for having the foresight to be born in Europe. I appreciate knowing I can still ski in Europe this season, perhaps enjoying cheaper airfares, accomodation and fewer crowds. No doubt those Brits who can't go skiing will find solace in blue passports. They'll come in rather handy when the shelves are empty of toilet paper.
