The people, right or wrong voted to leave the eu and to regain their sovereignty.

Our only hope now is the Commons rejects Bo Jo’s capitulation to the eu and we get a No Deal

I can't help feeling that both sides know the talks are over, but neither side wants to be accused of being the ones that walked away. The alternative is a fudge that both sides can claim as a victory.
Either way the Boris bashers will claim he lied if no deal; and he crumbled if a deal.

But Bozo and the other leading Brexiters are to blame.
Many of us voted for the Brexit that was promised not this fiasco. It was only AFTER the referendum that they started pushing for 'No Deal is better than a bad deal'. During the referendum no deal was called Project Fear.
We should have the same access as Norway, but with such a trade deficit we should not have to pay for it.

The last of the moderate Tories were purged last year. The divide now is between true believers in the cult of Brexit, and toadying sycophants who'd sell their mothers for a cabinet post. The latter aren't going to fight for a less Brexity future, they're just nodding along, doing enough to keep in favour with those currently in charge, while avoiding becoming the scapegoat when it all goes wrong.

So the Brexit bill was a storm in a tea cup brought about by the EU using NI as a bargaining chip instead of acting in good faith. That matter is now resolved. The EU always takes things to the wire like some game of chicken, it has happened time and time again with migrants, budgets, greece etc. I said 4 years ago, leave no deal and pay only what we was legally obliged to pay, do not negotiate.

It also is for the EU.

If we (EU) give in to Boris ....

Just let us leave and take our toys (fish) home with us.

The people of the UK never voted (or were asked) if we wanted to become a union and the answer is we don't.

And the way the EU stitched up those who were given the chance and rejected Maastricht Treaty is evidence enough of what was done.

1 referendum, 1 European Election and one general election have clearly answered that.

The EU could decide to not introduce import tariffs on the UK but that would mean cutting them for all non-EU/FTA countries. So not going to happen.

The government has previously said both that tariffs would not be introduce to reduce prices and they would be introduce to protect farming. So who knows on that way, but they have published a set of %'s so looking like they plan to.
