Climate change: PM aims for world-leading UK emissions cuts
03/12/2020 | news | science | 533
Boris Johnson is set to unveil plans for world-leading emissions UK cuts - but are they enough?
Agenda 21, the real reason they are closing businesses, encouraging people to work from home and clamping down on people traveling to different countries. World leaders have their climate quota to meet and they haven't been doing too well at it. So they push the story of the fake virus which allows them to bring loads of rules in to control people and stop them damaging the environment. Removed

If no child was born from tomorrow it would still take 40 years before the world population halved, so your solution isn’t “simple really”, it’s just plain nonsense.
You're right. We should do everything we can to stop African population growth. Removed

Remarkable the correlation in the names of those who are deniers & those who generally have far right-wing views. Occasionally they'll switch their argument to over population.

They usually cite Africa, but the problem is 10% of the world's population: https://ourworld.unu.edu/en/the-worlds-richest-people-also-emit-the-most-carbon

Don't fall for right-wing lies!

So it's not a question of halving the human population, it's more about controlling the consumption of 10% of the world's human population.

I'm sure your genius plan involves not having kids. I suppose the idea is that we destroy the birth rate and then import millions of Pakistanis in a generation or two because we don't have enough young people.

It's world population we need to control,... but nobody dare say that,
So do the right thing: don't just talk about, do it. You can reduce the population by one right now - and the added bonus is that we won't have to listen to your whinging anymore.
Do it, do it.

What a weird thing to say.

Africans are the least likely to be contributing to climate change.

That's not true, their population growth and emigration is responsible for a lot of Europe's emissions. 40% of French children can trace their ancestry back to Africa, this number is only growing. Removed

@Barackaddict

Climate change deniers are definitely a recognised far-right phenomenon. Call me foolish if you like but I tend to side with the experts. I take it you subscribe to believing the political ravings of the far right?

No country can be serious about cutting greenhouse gas emissions while they increase the population. The amount of emissions generated by building 100s of thousands of new houses ever year is enormous. 82% of population growth is through immigration.
