Hales can feel hard done by. Yes, he transgressed off the field, but he and Roy are quite similar temperamentally. Hales must have made enemies of Morgan and/or the selectors. There doesn’t seem to be anything he can do to force his way back in while Roy seems undroppable even when the side has had to carry him for months
Hales had the Bristol incident, then there was a sex text incident of some sort and he was told he was on his last warning. He then just before the World Cup got banned for testing positive for cocaine and that was that.
The management deemed him a liability and I think he is effectively a pariah from the national side. I’m not sure he has any route back in regardless of form. Removed

How do you work that out ....i did not see them decimate England in summer , or test series before that . Why do peoplelike to say England are rubbish , England beat Australia in World Cup quite easily when it mattered , people like you make me sick with English hatred
Good to see the women’s big bash final is the 2 teams who both have 2 England players each , funny that ......pity though Mel Jones and the other Aussie commentators do not like to give much praise to the English players especially Mel Jones whose hatred of English players is annoying
So Sam was chosen ahead of Moeen, question is how does Moeen justify his inclusion in the squad? He usually bowls only one over and rarely succeeds with the bat. Unfortunately he no longer seems to be the player he used to be.
Hey BBC. How about a story referring to the commentator you’ve suspended for using the word ‘handbags’ when describing a fight in a game.
Utterly disgusting and it is about time you were defunded. You lot are out of control.

If it wasn't serious the BBC and anything to do with women in football/cricket and rugby would be a a laughable joke. As it is.No matter how they try to 'big it up'.
And what do BBC headline? Women's Big Bash final in Australia. Snorrr!

Our batting line up is so good can't we afford 1 extra decent specialist T20 spinner because we will need one in India - we cannot expect to win it with just Rashid
We have to call time on Ali - he's gone in the head - it's obvious
If Stokes is in as an all rounder (I'm smiling - his Intl T20 bowling record is bad and his domestic one is average at best) then surely it's worth a risk Removed

Be wondering what washing powder will be used to make sure there are clean bright whites too oops that's for Test Cricket.
So better be a good colour wash powder then for pyjamas

If you want a good laugh, read some football fan opinions on HYS! It’s unbelievable some of it...
Anyway, tomorrow. Same pitch so two spinners a must yeah? But Moeen not in great form. Malan, not reliable enough for 4 overs? Doesn’t Archer bowl left arm spin in the nets?
