Let's hope that the extra funding gets spent sensibly

No more airports, high-spec ferries, turbine manufacturers and other vanity projects. We need to see the SG focus on growing our economy. With £2.5bn available, there's no excuses left for continued failure

Tut tut. You're making a mistake by stating facts. You should know by now that SNP don't let facts get in the way of their rabid nationalism. Yes for sure we'll be worse of economically and socially but we'll be free from these horrible English people who keep sending pots of money. We'll be a poorer but proud nation again. Wha's like us, Scots Wha hae etc
So you see this hate crime bill that Humza is trying to get through Hollyrood ? Do you think it could be used against the SNP for stirring up hatred against the English ?Just a thought.... Removed

Perhaps that "Hate Crime Bill" would be best put to use against the likes of yourself and all the other bitter little hate filled people who like you post here regularly with your clear hatred against the Scottish and everything Scottish...

Suggest you look up the definition of the word "hypocrite" and also the word "Ironic" as they apply to you and your posts...

Can't decide whether the SNP are: Socialist Nationalists; or Jacobite Royalists; or Whigs; Tory Nationalists ( ie 'Piscies);or Nationalist Nationalist; or Keynesianism Nationalists; Celtic Nationalists; or Communist Nationalists ; or Republican Nationalists. They really should come clean. The Umbrella can't be that big surely. Removed

Current guise is closer to Communist Nationalists since the days of Salmond. Prior to that erring Socialist Nationalists in the 80's. Apparently they were Tory Nationalists at some point and way back when Socialist Nationalists (the reverse equally applying). You could call it a broad church or lunatic asylum. They are 100% opportunists though, never straying far from that path.

Without full control of its own fiscal policy Scotland remains tether to the will of a Tory chancellor. This is undemocratic and should be relegated to the history books.

What the spending review means for Scotland is the same as it means every year an excuse for the SNP to stir up division and create faux grievances.
The question that should be asked is why Sturgeon and Co are sitting on a large chunk of Covid cash given by Westminster.

Alway's a matter of concern when these specialist financial separatist keyboard cadets believe that Sunak should be their secret Santa all year round. Why do the unionists not tell us which party they support when criticising Snp

Basically it is hypocrisy in the extreme to cast derision, lies, untruths, insults and generally being offensive when you cower behind the the yellow wall.

Oh John your bitterness shows no bounds..

The empire as you like to mention is called what by it’s full name?

Correct the British Empire in case you have forgotten that and Scotland played a full part in establishing that both good and bad.

So away and have a read of some of thing events that happened.

If there are some big words you don’t understand then just ask and will help you.

How many countries have split up a union of 300 years - Hint : NONE. Canada is the closest approximation of the UK, Quebec (French Speaking) has sought Indy for years from Canada, it has been consistently rejected. Even the US didn't want to leave the British Empire, all they wanted was representation which scotland HAS. Far more than it will within the EU.

John M,I doubt anyone on here doesn't want for the best for Scotland (I will include myself),however what many Nats (including you) cannot provide any answers on how leaving the UK will benefit Scotland, you consistently say leaving the EU will be a disaster but they represent ONLY A QUARTER OF THE TRADE WITH RUK.So why will leaving rUK not be a disaster then? Its a simple question I've asked before
Not everyone is a thick sheep like you. We wait for manifestos and what parties will do before making an informed decision, Idiots like you would jump in a loch if Nicola said too.

When you grow up we can have a mature debate but until then enjoy being a thick sheep.

63 countries dumped england

The empire dumped england

Ireland dumped england

Only one more wee country to go.

Now I have a lot of english friends and even they say it is correct to leave.

If you have a lot of English friends then the reason to go is because we are sick and tired of wingeing Scots blaming the English or England for your woes. Scotland gets more money spent on public services than England, they probably think we are sick and tired of getting less money under the Barnett Formula than Scotland.
