The return of crowds to outdoor sporting events is "something to celebrate for fans", says English Football League chairman Rick Parry.

There's a reason the BBC never let us comment on a Lewis Hamilton article.. No one likes him because he's not a nice person.. Still, have to say he did well.. Growing up in the "slums" as he described it.. Middle class idiot
Removed
And hes still achieved more in his life than you ever will. How do you know he isnt a nice person?
Think you’ll find the reason in the mirror. I’m not a Hamilton fan, but wonder how you feel you know him so well that you can express your judgement in a completely unrelated article.
When is the Table Tennis page gonna be updated. Nothing posted since the spring but recently there's been the world cup and the ITTF finals without even a score update. Maybe its because the chinese always win the BBC can't be bothered to report. Frustrated TT fan.

Sounds like you’ve lost your way TomTom.
Er no! I feel like I'm taking a massive risk every time I go to a supermarket. Few people bother to use the sanitizer. Twice recently I've had to ask staff to replenish tissues and fill up sanitizer. Not good enough! I go in, get what I want and get out as quick as I can.
Well yes you would think so. Obviously Man U fans will have to cope with the long distance travel, but if they insist on living in Surrey that can't be helped.
the virus effectively finished in Spring bar some regional ripples skewered by the mad notion of testing asymptomatic people with a flawed PCR test , or patients died as a result of other seasonal respiratory viruses that were recorded as a COVID death. It is now a case of backside covering from the govt as they decided to go with SAGE and their slides of doom and woefully inaccurate predictions

So would you say that to the families of the hundreds of people currently dying every day within 28 days of having tested positive for Covid. It is just a coincidence that they have died within 28 days of having a positive test result & then being on a ventilator & not being able to breathe is it?
Very sad that there are people like you that won't learn until it's you or your own.

Could not agree more. I am just waiting for the case and R numbers to start rising again in the new year. Inevitable until we get vaccine.
a virus so lethal that search parties of volunteers have to be sent out to find it. It inevitable it will rise considering that they are using a flawed PCR test which is inappropriate for testing on an industrial scale. The virus sadly took around 40,000 up to June , the remainder of deaths attributed to it are being wrongly (not purposely I hasten to add) recorded.

How many fans want to return to football?
The behaviour of the Premier league has been disgusting and wont be forgotten.
£15 to watch matches was an attempt to milk fans for even more money, at a time when the country was on its knees and many of us had no work.
My love for the game has gone.
The BBC are equally to blame, forcing womens football down our throats and being so biased to Man U! Removed

Yes. 1,600 people on average die every day. Scary figure isn't it.
Respiratory viruses don't have waves it isn't how they work. The people who were susceptible to this strain died up until Spring. If you look at the ONS figures for previous years the same figures that were reported as flu / other respiratory viruses are the same figures that this year have been reported as COVID deaths. I don't think I will be seeing the inside of Anfield this season. Imagine reaching a stage where 4,000 fans are allowed in. How much would those tickets go for? It would be AT LEAST £1000, because that is what Japanese tourists pay in normal times. Offer me £1000 for my ticket to watch us play a Premier League game in a deathly quiet, almost empty Anfield and the seat is yours!
Depends which team you follow.
Must admit some of the add one that have been quoted are rather shambolic and find hard to accept.
What's going to happen you be evicted from the ground for doing them things.

With a 'brother' like you the family would have moved on sharpish - minus (one) 1...
Like anyone would fancy your "missus"- As you are using that term, I doubt you even have a partner.
Does this mean the bbc journalists noses are now allowed to be within less than 2m of alan fergusons bottom

Keep it up Grealish, soon you will have more points than Villa. How can anybody get into so much bother and not have to attend court( beggars belief), different rules for different tools! No doubt when sentencing comes down, suspended sentence for as long as he is a Villa player.

Remember, in case of a crash, it's always better to leg it or drive off until you're no longer feeling "tired" and "emotional".

Who says "partner" when they can say husband/wife or girlfriend/boyfriend.
The type who says "significant other".
Or, who doesn't want to let on their partner is same-sex.

Will I be able to buy a Hot Dog?
Can't be too careful with the Corona even for players, we've seen how catching it has affected Paul Pogba for the last 5 seasons.
No doubt the North West will be shoved into the fanless tier and the south will all have 4k fans in. Not even subtle this government. Removed

the reason i was thinking that united get a lot of penalties from anthony taylor, is because in the last 8 matches, he's given them 5, and their opponents 1.
for the last 8 matches for city, he's awarded them 2 penalties and 2 to the opposition; each time the opposition getting the penalties was united.
if you take out the penalties awarded in the games between city and united, it's even. Removed

It will never go out of fashion as long as the media fawning over Manchester Utd. continues.
(When I've visited other parts of the UK and people have said no Man. U. fans live in Manchester, my reply has been they should go round the pubs in Salford - the place is crawling with 'em.)

I thought I must be tripping, but it does actually say Rashford (pen), not Penandes (pen).
I was just wowed by the fact that Man U had been awarded another penalty.
It was only in the last game that they were given one.
Time flies.
Nothing queer about United! Removed
