Rory seems to have some sort of mental block at the moment. Can only play well when out of contention. Even today as soon as he fought back into a good position he let shots slip on the two par 5s. Looks like another top 10 finish. That said DJ has been awesome and could finish with the record under par score at this rate,

DJ is showing the value of making the fewest mistakes. He just plays the best option shot and then plays the next one as appropriate. Unlike McIlroy.

McIlroy makes the mistake of targeting a score as he said, "I set a target to try and get to double digits under par...

This approach leads to mistakes. He's not playing the best shot for the moment, he's playing a shot to force a result.

He made an amazing comeback last Year and very well done.
But surely the point of objective commentary is to focus on the players who are performing well.
Instead we get juvenile Sky Polls about TW which are utterly pointless.
DJ is playing out of his skin and has to completely collapse not to win.

Yes ill never forget that i had Faldo at 11/2 on the last day. The difference this time is though Norman had a history of final day ill call it bad luck as opposed to chokes and even though it was 6 shots you always felt there was a chance for Faldo with a decent start. Johnson looks very solid but did have a slight wobble on Friday. He is 1/3 with the bookies. probably about right.

Bookmakers know it's all over too. They have offered me a $150 cash out on my bet. Thought DJ looked in complete control today - only 2 greens missed highlights his consistence.
Can anyone tell me why the players line their putts with the brand name horizontal to the ground?

Yes, I did see the fight. Katie's a great boxer, there's always going to be a rare exception. I'm referring to the drivel that the BBC insist on covering, on a daily basis, typical women's football. My school team would've giving the England ladies a good hiding!

I understand you're coming from a logical point of view. Given the revenue gained, and general ability of some women's sport, they shouldn't be given the same coverage of comparable men's sports. But people often respond to promotion quite positively, so if the end result is beneficial to the hundreds of thousand women and girls who want to get into sport, improve professionally, that can't be bad

Rory has done again what Rory does best. You can't win the Masters shooting a 75 in round 1. Three good scores in four yet again most likely but just like the Open in Ireland the good scores come when unforced and with less pressure

Yet on 13 yesterday he made the "right decision" laying up out of the rough and still made bogey. Rory is a great golfer but is a streaky putter. On day one he didn't have his best stuff (which generally happens at least 1 out of 4 days) and couldn't make putts to grind out an even par round. His wedge game for a top golfer is not great either. Needs to learn from DJ and address this as well.

All due respect to Bryson DeChambeau, but if as he claims the Augusta National course is to him a par 67 whereas to ordinary mortals it is rated as 72, should not then his scores be rated to his par of 67? Thus in his first round his score of 70 to par would not be -2 but +3. Likewise after three rounds where he is assessed at -3 he would be +12. Just a thought.
