"Finn cost Racing the game"
Strange that on both sides of the water he was rated as excellent, being instrumental in Racings tries, particularly Zebo, even the commentators stated Exeter couldn't cope with Finn. Ref your comments about Gray, you obviously haven't a clue what are the key attributes of a lock. The last time you called him useless in the S-F & he was MOTM. Clearly you haven't a clue

As a 50 year old ex-prop I find the pick and go tactic hugely engaging. Great final we’ll deserved for Exeter and I just love watching Racing play.

Not to get bogged down in reffing matters after that final. BUT...the mess at the end shows rugby have to give ownership of TV clock to the timekeeper. Currently TV clock is managed by the person who does the other graphics ie the score, stats etc.

The Italy v Wales game was a screw up by the welsh captain. Couldn't happen these days as the laws have changed. Quite rightly, teams used to be able to concede pens after the 80 knowing the ball couldn't be kicked to touch.

I dont like the fact that a penalty in the last minute ends the game, would rather they stop the clock for penalties and conversions.

Brilliant for Exeter, what a club. Built their club along the lines of our Leicester Tigers model. We’ve since deviated from that and are now crap. Another reason, Racing losing by 1 point 3 min to go. Paris playing in Exeter 22. A proper 10 would have taken opportunity to drop goal lead 30 v 28 and play our last 2 min. Russell is a flash player who fails to lead the team, the Scots are blinded by his odd brilliance but they don’t have alternative.

Good to see Exeter win a European title after having been cheated out of so many domestic championships. Bristol too last night. Let's hope we can put the last 5 years behind us and have a sport on a level playing field where one team doesn't think the rules don't apply to them. Well done too to Racing for making it a fantastic final.

Well, since you started it, $arries could only qualify for European Cup matches by finishing in Premiership's Top 4, 6 etc, while breaking the agreed salary cap. Once. Twice. Thrice. And more.
Had they not been caught out, I imagine we'd be seeing a different pair of finalists today.

They performed far better over 80 minutes, showed more ingenuity with ball in hand and dominated from 20 mins onward also in final phase with turnover Exeter players were going off their feet and offside left right and centre. I'm a neutral as well and would argue that Racing were getting away with far more but Nigel is known for being a bit lassai fair at the breakdown. Correct, no salary cap in European leagues.
However, as Saracens play in England they are subject to the rules of the English game and that also applies to the rules of renumeration, which they clearly breached - ref Lord Dyson enquiry

But they broke their own English league consistently, even ignoring previous warnings thus initially building then developing a squad that got into Europe (to the detriment of other English clubs). Hence they cheated to gain entry win their euro cups & the rest of the English Prem clubs particularly Exeter, Quin's & Tigers agree, all pushing for $arrie$ to be stripped of their ill-gotten gains

That's blatently obvious, no-one could establish that, but the other English clubs know it, the same as no-one could establish that Sarries English academy players of 10 yrs ago wouldn't have developed as they have, if they weren't exposed to Sarries highly paid world class players to become the England players today. ...a season during which they also cheated. Whichever way you try and dress it up, Saracens are a vile club, who cheat.

Saracens success is built on cheating!
