Which way will the 'GOAT race' turn?

Not only did Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic play for the French Open title on Sunday - they also jostled for position in the race to be the man with the most Grand Slam titles.

Federer for me, not just because of the titles won but because of the way he plays the game, the way he has been a role model for so many players and his longevity in the game. Novak is not a great man off the court, and Rafa only dominates 1 surface.
This is exactly it. Federer is a genius who inspired millions. Nadal is the King of Clay only. Djokovic is an idiot and can never be the GOAT because of his contrived behaviour, gamemanship and boring style of play. Removed

So BBC, why do the men get a comment section for a preview article (and no doubt another comment section in the final match report) yet the women's final which was won by one of the most exciting young prospects in years doesn't even get one at all? Removed

Murray, Stan and now Thiem are much better players than Safin, Bagdatis, Hewitt, Riddick and Phillipousis. You're maths is shocking. Nadal beat Federer in his prime on his least favourite and Federer's favourite surface. According to you Federer was in his late 30s then.
