Usually 2pts/game average gets a team into the Champions League, but doesn't win the league title. This may be the most open season for a long time as only Man U have averaged that so far. As for Ole, he's fortunate this is the season he's at the helm. I'm not convinced he's yet good enough. He needs a lot more good fortune to cover up his current management underdevelopment.

Pogba was indeed very good for a change.

VAR was rubbish, Shaw should have been sent off, the Burnley centre half should have been booked for the foul on Cavani and Burnley should have had a penalty for hand ball by Maguire. If the shoe was on the other foot, Utd would have had a penalty against 10 men.

Man U are on top and congrats and well done to OGS for sticking in there gratiously.

Only just the 90s.

Last time we went there with the home team as champions was September 1990 when they battered us 4-0.

About a month later we took them apart at Old Trafford and knocked them out of the League Cup.

Good times.

Shame they can't have their fans there to sing all those orchestrated hymns they love so much. Still, maybe next season eh, if they're still champions by then ;-}

Can't really complain about Burnley. By now you know what you are going to get with them. Given they way they defend is Uniteds achilles heel lately but sadly for Burnley that what makes them half decent defensively also makes them a very poor attacking unit. Not ManU fan but will support a null and void season because it's the worst ever. ManU can be awarded the title if that means increasing player safety and ending a disrupted season early. Form in last 10 games
Number of times a team has won PL in last 30 years.

The difference between United & Liverpool is not 3 points, but behind the 3-point difference, is a fact that united has world class talent & Liverpool doesn't.
The 3point difference is a symptom and lack of world class talent is the root difference Liverpool must address if they have ambitions to be champions for multiple years.
World class talent, play great football and make fans happy, simple!

Why - because Harry pushed down on the defender - foul. Anywhere else on the pitch it is a foul. Defender has no chance to defend as Harry pushed and held him down. The Irony of Man Ure fans moaning at refs. The league is poor. Football today is poor. So predictable - pass sideways, pass to the right, pass back 30 yards, pass to the right, pass to goalie, goalie boots up field, possession lost.

I have a condition where I have to shield from covid but the thought of shutting down football again is just unthinkable in my opinion! The damage last time already has caused will take a long tome to recover from and if it’s stopped again many more clubs will fall on even more hardship!
Not to mention the bit of joy we all get from being able to watch the games even if it’s only on tv.

As a neutral, I felt frustrated that VAR didn't think it was a handball against Maguire. By the same token, the other day Pogba got a penalty for clipping himself. Let's not even talk about the time when United got a penalty after the game finished a draw against Brighton.
