The role of volunteers will be "absolutely crucial" in fighting coronavirus, says Boris Johnson.

The percentage of those with confirmed covid-19 and the number of deaths remain small. However a virus has no cure and without a vaccine prevention is impossible. The numbers of those catching the disease will inevitably increase exponentially unless its spread is reduced in proportion. Not everyone will die as it is not normally a serious threat to life. Stay home and stop the spread.

@1994. hatebbcharassinglicenseletters "Why has France gone up to having three times as many deaths as the UK?" One reason is that they are testing more people, so they have a better view of which deaths can be attributed to Coronavirus. Even if it is a ‘joke’ : Look at the context. Sorry x3 has stated they're. Chinese and they constantly play on British stereotypes. I don't see it as racist to address that person back likewise. 2096 mja 'Nurses have had an average wage rise of 1.1% since the Tories have been in power' It's more like a rise of 60% for the majority of nurses over the last ten years. The NHS budget has gone from 110bn to 145bn since 2010. Only those at the very top of their (annually increasing) band have been capped at 1.1%. And that's still more than many in the private sector since 2010.
