I’m not surprised that people are stepping up to the plate. This is what we are trained to do. People are used to shake buckets to raise money for things the gvt should sort out. Brits also runs marathons, 20 k up and down the country to make up the gvt’s failures. We’re trained to do the gvt’s jobs. Remember Cameron’s big society?

Think the 'Stay at Home' rule has been misunderstood by many, streets full of people strolling, bikes, joggers, whole families all out together. I'm sure the message was to go out only for food, medicine, exercise but only if essential. People have taken the go out for exercise as an instruction that must go outside to do. Saw a neighbour go out for a French stick yesterday...essential?

Wuhan took 3 months of enforcement where one person, per houshold, per day was allowed out for essentail purchases. The state closed businesses. The strollers and the 'must' go to work will ensure we will take many more moths to slow the progress of the virus and this will damage our ecomomy We will all pay for this in higher taxes so let's all keep the bill small.
