India v Australia: David Warner and Aaron Finch hit tons in 10-wickets win
14/01/2020 | sport | cricket | 195
David Warner and Aaron Finch both strike unbeaten centuries as Australia hammer India by 10 wickets in the first one-day international in Mumbai.
Can only assume the Indian team played like a bunch of Sheilas. Removed
Who are the world champions? Not cheating England who were GIVEN the tournament by an umpiring foul up? Australia doing what England's garbage 1 day squad could only dream of today! Keep dreaming England fans! Removed

#4 get your facts right, there was no foul up. You read 1 incorrect opinion and it becomes fact. ?? That game had plenty of extra runs or no balls that were legit, for both teams, if you want to re umpire the whole game on playback.
#4 everyone who know you have our utmost sympathy. Removed

A wonderful result for the Aussie-land. #4 to call England cheats must mean that you have a short term memory or a different idea to what cheating is

@4 'Not cheating England who were GIVEN the tournament by an umpiring foul up?' The call on the overthrows was correct. Yes it was good luck, that does not make it wrong. NZ accepted the result in good grace. You are just trolling.

@4 I was at Edgbaston when England absolutely pummelled the pathetic Australian team in the semi finals! You can troll all you want about the final but we wiped the floor with your lot!!!!!!
I feel even more sorry for England after reading that article than I did when they made Root captain. They are going to get slaughtered in the next Ashes series in all formats. Removed

@ 5 - Not so sure considering England are currently well set for the future in the shorter formats both with the bat and ball.

Lot of England fans here having a pop at India. Let's look at the facts... - India play Indian players, England play whoever they want - India grow their own talent, England use a rotating globe to find talent - India have the richest cricket comp, England have Specsavers - India world cups x3, England x1, oh and 1966 ?? - India attracts world class players for IPL, England have Jason Roy Removed
32. You missed the Rugby World Cup win in 2003. Did you know England are the only country to win all three? Do you criticise the Australian team for containing a South African or Pakistani? Do you criticise the All Blacks rugby team for taking all of the best players from Fiji, Samoa, Tonga etc...? Didn’t think so Something tells me you just have a chip on your shoulder.... Removed

@32 giving yourself an extra WC are you as far as I know India have won two not three unless you are including 20/20 then India do have 3 but England have 2 and not sure what the Jason Roy comment is about as he may have failed at test cricket but still one of the best openers in the short format

I see Vikram is conspicuous by his absense - claims to be a massive India fan but is only ever on the England boards having a good troll. Probably hiding under his Virat Kohli duvet... Removed
The arrogance of the Indians is as inevitable as day follows night. This was complacency plain and simple. India don't have the bowling firepower if they are short - they jave the skill if they are par or better to close out 95% of the time as long as there is a bit of pressure on the chasers but when it's easy in minds of the two at the crease nothing is likely to change it. @66: I doubt IND players showed any arrogance today. This defeat cannot be attributed to their arrogance as you perceive. Arrogance alone defeats or win you nothing. Success or failure in planning, execution, resilience, implementing the skill, knowing the what is needed at the moment...etc are the things that win or cost you games. Not arrogance!
Always proud for India to be represented by home grown players rather than foreign ringers! Defeat today is a lesson for India nothing more, against a revived Australian team, albeit still consisting of cheats, Friday is another day and we will bounce back! Removed

@68: We have no evidence of AUS players cheating in this match. So, let's leave out the "cheating" stuff. Newlands happened. No doubt about it. But, that does not mean that should impact or define our perception of the Australian team in foreseeable future. I urge all here to please desist from invoking the Newlands c-saga. It's done. Let bygone be bygone!

If Australia had been playing England they would of lost by 200 runs or Stokes (Punchy) and company would of gone crying to the I.C.C. complaining of unfair play.

Anyone else noticed every comment mentioning @vikram has been removed? Haha. I have this vision of him sat there, glued to his keyboard, unable to comment as his team took an absolute pummelling, at home. Hahahaha I know you're reading this fair weather fan vikram. Hahaha. Hahaha @vik, hahaha. You do 'removals' for a living then? Hahaha 10 wicket defeat, hahaha At home, hahaha Thrashed dear boy, hahaha. Personally, I don't give much of a toss who wins between India and Australia but, the fact it keeps old vik miserable and off here is reason enough to celebrate it. 10 wickets...........hahaha Gonna be funny when you appear again. :-) Removed

@111: Not the IND team; but the opinions like yours are over-rated. Denouncing a team for one blip, or deifying another for one win - is a tendency that is well known to most common folks: it's called "juvenile psychology". No hero becomes zero in a day; no zero becomes a hero in a day! Time to grow up, be matured!
