And the eternal pre-mod of the lazy BBC continues. Oh well, since I can’t use the services I am forced to pay for .... Scrap the licence fee for this broadcasting dinosaur Removed
It's nothing more than ignorance on the part of the Australians to continue with this tournament at the expense of players' health. The PM is climate denier and the whole thing smacks of a backward nation and backward culture. Removed
I have tried to put considered thoughtful and moderate posts on this system, but because of coordinated misuse of the report button by certain nationalist trolls I have been in pre-mod hell for over a week. I’m afraid I’m beginning to think the trolls have a point. The BBC (at least the HYS section) is not fit for purpose and I resent my licence fee being wasted on it. Removed
They can always come back to Europe. 90% of OZ population come from here and most of that time Europeans were like a smoke to the Aboriginal people. Removed
end the TV tax posh people hitting a ball over a net and calling it the sport of tennis is absurd and offensive Removed
Cancel the tennis and turn the event into a whinging competition. Andy Murray then might have a change of actually winning it. Removed
Dear old women. Can't get a nomination for best director or brit award, and now can't get through a tennis match because of a bit of haze. Bless 'em. Back in the day, the average tennis player woud light up a woodbine between sets. Still, soon be Xmas :) zzzzzz . Removed
What kind of bonus does the HYS webmaster pull? Removed
Dear Beeb have you let the Work Experience kid run HYS today? I wrote most brill ting, even made Mrs Ecoworrierpeep wet her drawers - pressed Post Button - whole thing evaporated - now I can't remember what I said. Removed
Who actually gives a sh*t, there is so much more going on in Australia to be concerned about. Removed

@170 what a horrid nasty low life you are. Clueless beyond belief. @182 grow up there is room for both stories and how it is affecting the players. The debate should not be about it being reported it should be about the event should be cancelled and all prize money given to the fire fund Removed

Arr didums typical of the snowflake generation. Just nuckle down and get on with it.
@191 Hahaha - is that a attempt at trolling...your mum wouldn't be very happy with you sitting in your bedroom using up her leccy like that. Off to bed with you. And try to apply for a job in the morning. Removed

@203 you are just another small minded dumb fool. No one is taking away anything from what the fire fighters are doing. But if the air quality is that bad the authorities telling residents not to go out it will effect the players health and breathing and they have every right to voice this
@205 Hats off to the fire crews [amazing]...but mate don't waste your time replying to the gammons on here...they can't spell, complete a sentence correctly or be happy in any way. Aaaaangry individuals. Grrrr...lol. Removed

She was scared? Well welcome to the future sweetie. If she thinks that was bad, wait till she can't breathe at all when she's NOT playing tennis....because that's exactly whats going to happen unless self interested geriatrics like Trump and Johnson admit that CLIMATE CHANGE EXISTS. Removed

#251 can't comment on most of the HYS as the BBC have pulled the plug on navigating it but 251 don't put Trump and Johnson in the same climate change camp BJ does accept climate change get your facts straight As for the open it might have to be cancelled unless the Ozzies can do something about the pollution

@271 The main thing is that all these ‘deniers', will reap what they , no doubt. Sow. Most people that stick their heads up (above the polluted) clouds, are the ones that will complain about buses, lorries etc while having 3 cars in their concrete-over garden/driveway. I’ll be dead anyway, so they can live with it in years to come!

@274. Posted by Skin_Deep on 1 hour ago Don't see the heroic fire fighters complaining & they don't even get paid. Pathetic 'sports stars'! When the fires are next door to you I look forward to reading about your own demise due to smoke inhalation. If there’s one thing worse than climate change, it’s a climate change denier, a Luddite, a head in the sand pretending science doesn’t exist. LOL! Removed

I had the same thing last week playing tennis on the Wii. After a particularly sonorous bout of flatulence I could barely see the screen. It's tough at the top but sometime you need to dig in, it's about levels at the upper echelons of the game. And sometimes it's just about accepting things and going to the toilet, but mainly it is digging in. Removed

303.Nice one.Sums up half the comments on here.Overweight ,unfit society who have never played any kind of sport at any level unless you include something with a screen and a control pad interrupted by a quick break to the fridge between games.Try it for real and see how poor air quality affects breathing before having a dig.
These are the types of conditions that labourers in the UK work in day in day out, only worse. You don't see any feminists referring to the lack of diversity in those jobs. Removed
